Avenue South Orthodontics is an amazing place. The workers have a great attitude and it’s such a vibe in there.

Nakiah was SO great!! She was AMAZING helping me get my Invisalign off and made me laugh a ton. Definitely would recommend her for anyone who comes in!!

I was referred to Avenue South Orthodontics by my dentist at The Gulch Dental Studio (which, by the way, also has amazing doctors). Originally, I was simply looking to fix a gap from a missing lower tooth with a crown. My dentist suggested that before doing anything, I should meet with Dr. Foltz at Avenue South Orthodontics.

Having previously consulted with a couple of orthodontists in Denver, Colorado, I assumed I’d hear the same thing I’d been told before—that I wasn’t really a candidate for braces or Invisalign. Still, Dr. Foltz encouraged me to come in for a consultation, and I’m very glad I did.

The moment you walk into Avenue South Orthodontics, the atmosphere immediately stands out. It feels more like walking into a beautifully designed home than a traditional dental clinic. The team is incredibly welcoming and professional. I was offered water, coffee, and even an adult beverage—which honestly made me double-check that I was in the right place. It feels more like a mini resort experience than an orthodontist visit.

Emma Beth greeted me and walked me through the initial process where scans and X-rays were taken. Dr. Foltz then came in and carefully explained my options for braces or Invisalign. I ultimately chose Invisalign, and I couldn’t be happier with the decision. I’m already seeing noticeable improvements and feel like I’m finally on the path to getting the smile I’ve always wanted.

What really stands out about this practice is the consistency. Every visit feels the same—welcoming, organized, and genuinely friendly. The team never feels pushy about services and always makes you feel comfortable.

Dr. Foltz sets the tone for the entire office. He treats you like a person, not just a patient. He takes time to ask how you’re doing, answers every question thoroughly, and makes you feel completely at ease.

The entire team deserves recognition. Emma Beth, Katie at the front desk, and the orthodontic assistants—Stephanie, Hailey, Leah, and Na’Kiah—consistently provide exceptional service. They’re friendly, professional, and clearly take pride in what they do. Each visit feels like you’re being taken care of by people who truly enjoy helping patients.

If you’re looking for one of the best orthodontic experiences in the Nashville area, I highly recommend Avenue South Orthodontics. The level of service, professionalism, and overall experience is truly exceptional.

We have been going to Avenue South for the last several months for my daughter’s braces. We visited several places for consults and our daughter was adamant that she go to be treated by Dr Foltz (who related to her as a former theater kid-ha!) The office, staff and all the fun incentives really make all the difference. They have been able to get us in for appointments exactly when we need to with a crazy schedule as well.

I cannot recommend them enough. They have taken care of two of my kids. Beyond being great at what they do they make the process super easy and pleasant. Always welcoming. Appointment times that work for our schedule. Drink station while you wait. Love them!

Just completed my treatment!!! WORTH EVERY PENNY!!!! Braces starting 01/2024-11/2025. My teeth look amazing, the staff is WONDERFUL, and scheduling is so easy for check-ins and adjustments. Highly recommend, would go here again if I had to do it again.

ASO goes above and beyond in professionalism and care. I’ve completed Invisalign with them (woof - every part of me is mostly miserable in this photo except my smile! Summer pregnancy am I right?! 🤣🤣🤣), and now, my 8 year-old is going through phase one braces. I drive 30+ minutes to see Brandon and his team. WORTH IT! They’ve really created a unique environment with the best vibes. They cater to your unique needs, use the latest research and technology, and make it a fun experience for adults and kids.

I can't say enough great things about Avenue South Orthodontics! My son needed two rounds of braces (due to being a thumb-sucker as a toddler), and I knew we needed a very patient and caring orthodontist who could help us. Well, we certainly found one! Dr. Foltz and his entire staff are so knowledgeable and compassionate! At every turn, they met our needs with professionalism and understanding. Every staff member is so friendly and helpful! They were immediately responsive whenever we had an issue pop up, whether it was a broken bracket or a payment question. Also, Dr. Foltz will not complete treatment until your child's teeth are PERFECT! He took extra time to make sure that my son's smile was beautiful and that the work we had invested in throughout two rounds of braces would last a lifetime. Avenue south is the best! My son loves his ortho appointments!

My son is a freshman at Belmont. He had an issue with his braces. I looked around and the closest Orthodontist to him was 1.3 miles away. They also had great reviews. Well let me tell you the reviews are 100% accurate. They were able to fit him very quickly, faster than the service I get from his ortho here at home. They were great communicaters with me. Made him feel comforable and safet even though he was unfamilure and 700 miles away from home. He was in and out in a few minutes. I only wish we could transfer his care there to Avenue South Orthodontics, except his ortho here at home was pay 100% upfront plus they already filed with insurance. If he has future incidents I know they will help and make him feel comfortable, which places me at great ease. This Ortho has gone above and beyond all expectations.

We have had a fantastic experience with Avenue south orthodontics. Avenue south orthodontics is comfortable. The staff are very nice and care about you and your teeth. They even will give you a popsicle or a coffee.

we love Avenue South Orthodontics! It’s a treat to go to appointments. They see my 11 year old son and me for my Invisiline treatments. It’s convenient, fast appointments, comfortable waiting area and everyone is friendly and professional. We’ve been pleased with the outcome of our treatments too.

I absolutely recommend this location! After having braces years ago, my bottom teeth began to shift just a little, so I decided to visit Dr. Foltz to explore my options. The staff, whether on the phone or in personal is absolutely phenomenal, and the office itself has so many great aesthetic touches inside (like a crafted drink menu for all ages, from juices to lattes), it doesn’t feel like your boring typical orthodontist’s office. Even in watching how they interact with other clients, and how much their small clients (kids) love the staff, it speaks volumes to the friendly environment they foster. Hailey, an absolute sweetheart, took me right to the back to do my x-rays, and other scans with their advanced technology, and it was completed in no time. Dr. Foltz is extremely nice - not to mention easy on the eyes (lol). I was able to avoid Invisalign altogether after he suggested a modified retainer that would be enough to make the minor corrections I needed, and I received them within 48 hrs! I simply can’t thank everyone there enough for making this a GREAT experience, from beginning to end.

You’re never too old to straighten those teeth!!! From the first day of consultation to the last day when my braces came off, the entire experience was actually quite wonderful. I saw Dr. Foltz and his team every 6 weeks for 2 1/2 years and I’m going to miss them! Who knew you could look forward to seeing the orthodontist??? Everyone there greeted me with a smile, knew my name, made me feel like I mattered. I live in Franklin so it was way out of my way, but I’m grateful my dentist sent me to Avenue South Orthodontics.
